European Aerospace Cluster Partnership
The European Aerospace Cluster Partnership (EACP) provides a permanent platform for mutual exchange, policy learning, and cooperation to achieve high-level performance among European aerospace clusters. It focuses on the exchange of experiences both concerning cluster policy and the search for effective solutions to the various challenges faced by the European aerospace cluster partners.
The overall goal of the EACP is to strengthen the European aerospace industry by fostering transnational relationships that allow for the sharing of knowledge and access to resources – be it formally through cooperation projects or informally through networking. By operating on the cluster management level, not only one group of players, such as industry or researchers, is involved, but entire cluster structures, which helps build relationships on a more comprehensive basis.
In order to encourage transnational cooperation on a level that initially goes beyond competition, the EACP provides the opportunity for each member to participate in one or several working groups that aim at addressing common challenges and that contribute to the development of each member cluster to achieve high-level performance by developing and carrying out various joint projects. These working groups are currently mainly concerned with topics such as Internationalisation, Skills & Qualification, and Cluster Funding.
