The Declaration of Bilbao on "Fostering eco-innovation in SMEs"

The organisers of the 8th European Forum on Eco-innovation facilitated the formulation of the Bilbao Declaration on Eco-innovation in SMEs. The Declaration formulates recommendations on how the European Union can make eco-innovation a true driver of growth for European SMEs. The Declaration thus constitutes a contribution to the emerging Europe 2020 innovation policy.

The European Forum on Eco-innovation is a series of conferences in the context of the Environmental Technology Action Plan of the European Union.
