Overview
The Regional KIS 100 event on 17 January 2011 in Paris promoted service innovation in France by bringing together the regional stakeholders in this field.
Innovation practitioners, policy makers as well as SMEs and industry experts came together to network and discuss ways to enhance innovation in the service sector. A number of regional SMEs that have been successful in knowledge intensive industries showcased their approach to service innovation. In addition, the issues of how regions can support the emergence and growth of knowledge intensive service companies for example through clusters or regional support measures were discussed.
