PROJECT ImMediaTe

Improving the Value of Digital Media and Creative Industries through Innovative Business Models and Services

ImMediaTe addresses Digital Media and Creative Industries to make:

Companies more “investment-ready”

Investors more "sector-aware"

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Project ImMediaTe aims to provide tools and services to assist the growth of digital media SMEs operating in the creative industries sector.

Analyses and reports show that diverse sources of financing are available for the sector, but significant cultural and educational gaps prevent the people with the right ideas from meeting the people with the right money.

This is true for many sectors, but especially for digital media, a sector in which such radically diverse industrial models as ICT and audiovisuals co-exist.

TOOLS & SERVICES

During the course of 2010-2011, ImMediaTe will organise a series of thematic events (one in each of the participating clusters) to mobilise local SMEs and stakeholders and attract a select international audience.

Each event will provide ad hoc coaching, business and financial services to clustered SMEs based on three main service packages:

ImMediaTe Academy (Broadening the skill base support package)

A package providing business and technical courses on critical aspects of media literacy to creative talents and entrepreneurs, including management, marketing and IPRs.

ImMediaTe Market Forum (Going international support package)

A package offering high-level insight from Media experts together with the presentation of key trends, market opportunities and concrete opportunities for companies to showcase their projects to an international audience of sponsors, distributors, brokers, co-producers and other potential partners through match-making sessions.

ImMediaTe Investment Forum
(Investment readiness support package)

A package organising pitch sessions for select companies to meet international financial investors interested in closing deals with companies at different stages (seed, start-up, growth, etc.). Special attention will be given to the possibility of creating conditions for syndicated, cross-border, public/private co-investments.

Service packages will be provided by project partners and through a wider pool of ImMediaTe compliant service providers. During the course of the project, the packages will be progressively designed, deployed and tested.

More information about the ImMediaTe -events will be found here.
