IMP³rove on PARTSIP Project Conference
Libor Friedel, IMP³rove Network Partner from the Centre of Applied Economic Research, Faculty of Management and Economics at Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic), gave a keynote speech on the initial conference of Czech project PARTSIP (Partnership with Information Professionals), organised in Brno, February 4, 2010. IMP³rove Assessment is basis for European pre-standard
The European standardization agency, CEN has published the “Standardization of an Innovation Capability Rating for SMEs” (CEN Workshop Agreement, CWA 15899 ) in December 2008. It includes a procedure for measuring Innovation Management performance based on the IMP³rove methodology building upon the A.T. Kearney House of Innovation. This is a first step to establish the IMP³rove Assessment as common European standard. With this agreement IMP³rove has an additional “unique selling proposition” for all stakeholders. For SMEs, this offers a compelling argument when communicating with financial actors, OEMs or public agencies providing funds for innovation. IMP³rove Experts can leverage this agreement as differentiating factor compared to other approaches. Public authorities and agencies as well as financial actors can request the proof of Innovation Management performance that adheres to this agreement as the “best practice”.
