Brief description of the tool: The Project Risk Assessment tool developed and used by KIS-PIMS aims at estimating in 20 minutes project risks for a Service innovation in the renewable energy sector. The result allows innovation experts identifying the critical points to be addressed to achieve a true commercial innovation. Risks are estimated in 5 folds: Technical, IP, Managerial, Commercial, Financial.

Critical success factors and transferability: The tool has been designed to be used in the frame of an innovation voucher scheme of 2nd generation (business approach). The know-how transfer for the tool use is expected to be performed through accreditation trainings, together with other tools of the Europe INNOVA Toolbox. It is highlighted that this tool is sector specific.
